
Accounting Bookkeeper

The Accounting Bookkeeper is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of daily accounting operations. This includes managing invoice processing, payment execution and vendor reconciliations. Additionally, the role requires active collaboration with other departments to support financial accuracy and compliance.
Job duties and responsibilities
In addition to the principal objectives, the Accounting Bookkeeper is responsible to:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records and an organized filing system (both digital and physical).
- Record financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Issue invoices and receipts while monitoring and following up on Accounts Receivable.
- Facilitate bank transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, as required.
- Oversee and manage petty cash transactions.
- Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to meet financial deadlines and objectives.
- Perform additional finance-related tasks as assigned.

Ensuring all practical steps are taken to ensure an adequate work environment of the reporting team members.

Qualification Requirements
- LCCI Higher in Accounting and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
- At least 1 year experience in an Accounting Department.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, communicate progress and meet deadlines.
- High degree of numeracy, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
