We are looking for a
Financial Analyst
who feels confident working at the intersection of management reporting, accounting data, and process automation. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to transition from manual spreadsheet work toward building structured reporting flows and strengthening the bridge between Finance and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation:
    Ensure accuracy of financial data in coordination with the accounting team, including reconciliations of positions, cash movements, valuations, and intercompany transactions.
  • Process Improvement:
    Act as a link between Finance and IT to automate data flows, reduce manual work, and transition existing reports into structured and repeatable processes.
  • Market Operations:
    Work with data related to financial instruments and market operations (including traded instruments, fixed-income products, derivatives, money-market and financing transactions) ensuring accurate reflection in internal P&L, valuations, and management accounts.
  • Management Reporting:
    Prepare regular management reports, analytical summaries, variance analysis, and P&L insights for internal stakeholders.
  • BI & Analytics:
    Develop and maintain dashboards using modern data transformation and BI tools to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    2+ years in Finance, Audit, Controlling, or a related field. Experience with investment-related data or financial instruments is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    Advanced proficiency in
    Excel
    and data transformation tools (e.g. Power Query). Ability to work with structured and unstructured financial datasets. Familiarity with BI platforms or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Understanding of how financial instruments and market transactions flow through internal reporting and affect performance metrics.
  • Languages:
    Fluent
    English
    and
    Russian
    (written and spoken).
  • Soft Skills:
    Ability to translate between Finance and IT: explain financial logic to technical teams and communicate technical constraints back to Finance stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse (DWH)
    concepts, data organization, or experience working with data extracts from DWH.
  • Experience building dashboards in BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Understanding of IFRS and Cyprus tax considerations.
  • Experience with multi-currency environments and consolidation processes.
