As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring our financial integrity and driving performance by expertly merging financial planning, analysis, and forecasting (FP&A) with robust financial control and precise reporting. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver precise financial insights that optimize and enhance operational efficiency and uphold strict adherence to industry regulations and statutory obligations. You will also directly contribute to the seamless flow of financial data into our accounting systems, including playing a key role in the Oracle NetSuite implementation and Chart of Accounts design, methodologies, while providing essential oversight to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Collaborate with department heads to collect inputs and provide variance analysis against forecasts.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and cash flow trends, ensuring accurate reporting of operational and client fund movements.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Develop and maintain financial models for business scenarios, new initiatives, and market analysis.
• Track and report key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Support in preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports for internal stakeholders.

Business Partnering

• Serve as a financial liaison to business units by providing insights and analysis to support operational decisions.
• Assist in evaluating financial impact of new product launches, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.

Financial Systems & Data

• Contribute to financial systems optimization, including reporting automation and data accuracy checks.
• Support integration of financial data across systems, including Oracle NetSuite and BI tools.
• Assist in chart of accounts maintenance and improvements to support better financial analysis.

Cash Flow Management & Reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, to support liquidity planning for operational and strategic needs.
• Analyze actual cash flow performance versus forecasts, investigating variances and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing cash across operational and client accounts, ensuring alignment with budgetary expectations and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with treasury or finance operations teams (where applicable) to support cash optimization strategies and working capital efficiency.

Tools & Systems Experience

• ERP & Accounting: Familiarity with modern ERP platforms (e.g., tools similar to Oracle NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) for financial reporting, general ledger, and budgeting processes.
• Business Intelligence & Visualization: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. (highly preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related finance roles.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Understanding of payment systems, gateways, and transaction processing.
• Strong data analysis skills to monitor trends and make data-driven improvements to the payment processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex payment strategies into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on operational efficiency and strategic growth.
