The reduction in teaching load will depend on the quantity and the quality of Scopus publications they (co-)authored in the last five (5) years.
The School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Education Sciences, seeks to recruit qualified academics in the following disciplines:
- Special & Inclusive Education (Lecturer or Assistant Professor)
- Lifelong Learning and Human Resources Development (Any Rank)
Duties and responsibilities:
- As described in the University's Charter by Laws
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Doctorate degree (PhD holder in the relevant field)
- Strong Background in Education Sciences
- Expertise in disability policies and practices
- Expertise in Pedagogies of Inclusive Education
- Experience in the education of children with disabilities and/or special education needs
- Digital Competences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Student Oriented
- Global mindset
- Innovative
- Team Worker
- Emotionally Intelligent
Former Teaching and Research Experience:
- For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
- For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
- For the rank of Associate Professor at least 8 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
- For the rank of Professor at least 12 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
