The reduction in teaching load will depend on the quantity and the quality of Scopus publications they (co-)authored in the last five (5) years.

The School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Education Sciences, seeks to recruit qualified academics in the following disciplines:

  • Special & Inclusive Education (Lecturer or Assistant Professor)
  • Lifelong Learning and Human Resources Development (Any Rank)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • As described in the University's Charter by Laws

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Doctorate degree (PhD holder in the relevant field)
  • Strong Background in Education Sciences
  • Expertise in disability policies and practices
  • Expertise in Pedagogies of Inclusive Education
  • Experience in the education of children with disabilities and/or special education needs
  • Digital Competences
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Student Oriented
  • Global mindset
  • Innovative
  • Team Worker
  • Emotionally Intelligent

Former Teaching and Research Experience:

  • For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
  • For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
  • For the rank of Associate Professor at least 8 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
  • For the rank of Professor at least 12 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
