The Commercial Counsel is a partner and trusted advisor to the Amdocs EMEA division. He or she is responsible for providing legal support for all commercial activities performed within the accounts that he or she oversees.
What will your job look like?
- You will provide advice, draft legal documents, negotiate agreements, participate in decision-making processes, and promote compliance.
- You will be a partner to your internal customers and have many company-wide interfaces around the globe. You will work directly with Amdocs' customers.
- You will use and deepen your understanding of the commercial world to negotiate numerous deals concurrently, delivering real results to the company's bottom line.
All you need is...
- Juris Doctor/LL. B. plus admission to at least one bar. An international LL.M. is an advantage.
- At least 5 years' experience in commercial law gained at global high-tech companies or private practice (advising international clients).
- Meaningful experience negotiating IT agreements, such as licensing, services, and SaaS agreements. Good legal compliance understanding.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Analytical thinking: the ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic approach and demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer-facing orientation.
- Ability to reach agreements of strategic importance with others outside the organization who have widely differing perspectives and objectives.
- Outstanding negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Stress management: the ability to cope with stress and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.
- This position may require travel and participation in negotiations abroad.
