Responsibilities:

Customer

• Ensuring that products deliver clear value to end-users, clients, and internal stakeholders.

• Regularly engage with customers, users, and business partners to gather insights and feedback, using this to refine product direction and improve the overall customer experience.

• Stay ahead of customer needs and expectations by conducting market and competitive analysis, identifying opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and customer-centric solutions in the payments and banking technology space.

Accountability

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: from vision, strategy, and roadmap development to launch, optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Be accountable for delivering products that meet agreed business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

• Take responsibility for defining and tracking product success metrics, ensuring profitability, market relevance, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements

Responsibility

• Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and market trends.

• Manage cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to deliver successful products.

• Maintain responsibility for product processes, project management, risk management, and resource allocation for assigned product lines.

• Act as the product trainer internally, educating and inspiring teams about the product vision, benefits, and market positioning.

Engagement

• Actively engage with internal teams, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to align on product priorities and strategic goals.

• Mentor and lead virtual cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and data-driven decision-making.

• Facilitate clear, transparent communication at all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment on product vision, roadmaps, and project status.

• Encourage continuous feedback loops with customers and internal stakeholders to refine and enhance product performance.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of payment technologies, back-office processing systems, API integrations, and product methodology.

• Proficiency in data analysis to drive informed product decisions.

• Strong awareness of global payment regulations, systems, and market practices.

• Adjustable for product managers specialising in credits, loans, or SME banking tech.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels.

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Collaborative approach, experienced in working with diverse technical and business teams.

• Minimum 5+ years' product management experience, ideally in payment or banking technology.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully launching complex products and delivering business outcome.
