For this reason, Welltech is seeking a talented and motivated Application Security Engineer to help ensure the security of our product and services by design across the company.Key Responsibilities: Implement automated security checks throughout the CI/CD pipelines (SCA, SAST, DAST, fuzzing, etc.)Coordinate regular internal and external security assessments on new and existing products, such as penetration tests.Perform threat modeling, design and code reviews sessions to proactively avoid identify potential vulnerabilitiesBuild security libraries and tools both for the Security Team and for other teamsMaintain the vulnerability management process, ensuring that security risks are correctly addressed.Work with the Security Champions program and conduct training sessions on secure development best practicesPropose and create new standards and tools to improve security posture of Welltech productsProvide security expertise while working across the company on critical security initiativesContribute to improving overall security of Welltech as a whole by participating in Security Team's initiativesSupport Security team in fostering security culture and designing awareness campaignsRequired Skills:2+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar positionHands-on experience is appsecurityAbility to explain complex security issues and their impact to diverse audiencesExperience with security vulnerabilities described in OWASP 10 and SANS 25Experience with modern web application offensive security assessments such as penetration testingExperience with securing mobile applicationsStrong coding skills (preferable Python, Swift and or Kotlin)Proven problem-solving, analytical and investigative skills combined with the ability to develop creative solutions and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, agile environmentProven team player, collaborating well with others to tackle problems in a team-focused dynamicNice-to-haves:Previous experience with Bug Bounties, CTFs or similar activitiesExperience with implementing security across a microservices architectureExperience with technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with the AWS environmentExperience with PCI certification processCandidate journey: Recruiter call ---->  Skills assessment-----> Meet the hiring manager Why You'll Love Being Part of Welltech:Grow Together: Join a culture that champions both personal and professional growth.
