Lead QA Automation Engineer for a Forex company in Larnaca, Cyprus

What will you do?

  • Define and implement a robust and scalable test automation strategy for low-latency systems
  • Drive adoption of AI/ML testing tools, including use of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) with Playwright in Python
  • Lead, mentor, and coach QA Automation Engineers at various levels
  • Represent QA in architecture discussions and ensure testability in microservice design
  • Design and maintain advanced automation frameworks across API, UI, Database, and Mobile
  • Develop performance and load testing strategies focused on latency and throughput
  • Collaborate with DevOps to streamline test execution within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Create contextual test designs that enhance coverage and issue detection through MCP

Candidate profile

  • 7+ years in QA automation with 2+ years in a lead or mentorship role in Forex, FinTech, or high-volume platforms
  • Expert coding ability in Python
  • Solid experience in working with Selenium
  • Solid background in performance testing using k6, Locust, or similar tools
  • Experience with CI/CD integration and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on understanding of AI/ML testing frameworks and MCP implementation
  • Strong grasp of trading platforms and financial market mechanics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English
