The Accountant role is an entry-level position that will support the finance team by performing foundational accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. The position involves working closely with senior accountants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and to support the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements accurately.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Expense Management: Track and categorize expenses, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Audit Support: Aid in internal and external audits by preparing documentation.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct basic analysis to support decision-making.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain organized financial records for auditing.
  • Software Utilization: Basic knowledge of Excel and any accounting software (nice to have).

Requirements

  • Bachelor&ss in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years in accounting, fintech preferred.
  • Familiar in accounting software and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Team player with integrity.
  • CPA or ACCA pursuit a plus.
