Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse & Logistics team, as well as providing general support with regards to deliveries and pickups of required packages. The primary responsibility will be assisting warehouse operations, inventory processing, and preparing (packing) orders in accordance with the company's procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Receive and process inventory in line with company procedures.
  • Unpack (as needed) and store received inventory in the allocated locations.
  • Prepare inventory for delivery according to company procedures.
  • Monitor and control access to the warehouse, ensuring inventory security.
  • Support the Warehouse and Logistics team with shipment/delivery documentation if required.
  • Transfer inventory and stock items from warehouse facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other sites when needed.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts.
  • Collaborate as part of the team to meet warehouse goals.
  • Maintain good knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Move office equipment and office supplies between buildings if required.
  • Pick up and deliver items from local suppliers.
  • Delivery/Collect orders to/from local customer premises.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent (or higher).
  • Experience in a similar position is a plus.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physically fit and able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift.
  • Able to lift up to 20kg.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory control procedures is an advantage.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
