We at PEOPLE HUNT are hiring a Senior Frontend Developer on behalf of a rapidly growing iGaming start-up that's building high-performance, interactive web experiences.

In this role, you'll take the lead in developing cutting-edge web applications where animation, UI, and rendering come together. You'll collaborate closely with artists and product teams to transform creative concepts into dynamic, scalable, and visually engaging interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of React + TypeScript applications with a focus on clean architecture and effective state management.

  • Integrate and optimize Spine animations (skins, mixing, timelines) using web runtimes such as pixi-spine, Spine WebGL/Canvas, etc.

  • Build and optimize rendering layers for dynamic UIs and animations - texture atlases, batching, and draw-call optimization.

  • Collaborate with artists and tech-artists to convert rigs and storyboards into production-ready assets and efficient export pipelines.

  • Implement and maintain performance monitoring and optimization tools (FPS/CPU/memory profiling, frame budgets, asset streaming).

  • Ensure high code quality through type safety, testing coverage, and CI/CD best practices.

  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and guide architectural decisions related to rendering, performance, and state management.

  • Work with Product and Design teams to define and enhance UX patterns for real-time animated interfaces.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience developing production-grade web applications using React and TypeScript.

  • Hands-on experience working with Spine - understanding of rigging, animation states, events, mixing, mesh deformation, and runtime APIs.

  • Strong knowledge of WebGL/Canvas performance and rendering principles (GPU/CPU constraints, texture packing, mipmaps, premultiplied alpha).

  • Experience with PixiJS or similar 2D rendering engines, with a solid grasp of coordinate systems, scene graphs, and time-based animation.

  • A performance-first mindset - experienced in profiling, optimization, and scalable asset pipelines.

  • Comfortable collaborating with artists and defining asset specifications, pipelines, and versioning standards.
