The position

MTS GLOBE CYPRUS LTD is seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated individual as an Accounting and Back Office Assistant.

The role - Principal Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconciliation of debtors and creditors

  • Ensure invoices are issued accurately and timely

  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly recorded

  • Monitor expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions

  • Review requests and purchase order invoices and advise of potential over-expenditures or misappropriation

  • Assisting and supporting with the reconciliation of payment transactions, whilst dealing with queries swiftly and effectively.

  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is collected and update the Company’s software.

  • Providing general administrative and accountancy support.

  • Perform other related duties as required

Essential Qualifications, Skills, Competencies & Qualities

  • Appropriate qualifications e.g. LCCI (Levels 1 & 2 and preferably 3)

  • Relevant prior work experience

  • Excellent command of Greek and English language (both verbal and written)

  • Awareness and ability to analyse and comprehend data

  • Excellent literacy skills and a proficient computer user with experience of using Microsoft office, reservation systems etc.

  • Good organization, time management and problem-solving skills

  • Capability of undertaking initiatives and delivering results

  • Trustworthy, honest, and committed

  • Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team

A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on his/her qualifications and experience.
