Operations Director

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective offshore operations.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of offshore activities, ensuring they meet both productivity and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other department heads to ensure that operational activities are aligned with the overall strategy and objectives of the company.
- Manage budgets and forecasts and oversee procurement and supply chain management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements in all offshore operations.
- Lead and manage a diverse team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, Charterers, end-users, regulatory bodies, partners, and suppliers.
- Ensure that all offshore equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards and are fit for purpose.
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies and unexpected issues, implementing contingency plans as needed. CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in an Operations Management position with an offshore management company.
- Seagoing experience as Captain with DP-2 and DP-3 vessels.
- Extensive experience in operational management, preferably in an offshore environment/wind farm/ Oil and Gas.
- Strong understanding of offshore industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
- Proficient in the use of operational software and technology.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional visits to offshore sites.
