Reconciliation Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Officer to join our team at The Talent Hunter. As a Reconciliation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' funds.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily reconciliations of clients' funds from third-party statements to our SAP accounting software, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor workflows and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner, ensuring seamless deposit and withdrawal processes.
  • Reconcile client data, verifying that adequate funds are segregated to cover client balances.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client funds and balances.
  • Monitor financial institutions and payment providers' balances, assessing settlement and transfer needs.
  • Communicate and coordinate with various departments and third parties for issue resolution.
  • Assist the PSP Manager in preparing analytical reports.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within a FX environment.
  • Knowledge of Methods reconciliation software is an advantage.
  • Advanced computer literacy, especially in MS Excel.
  • Proven analytical abilities and investigative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and monitoring skills.
  • Fluency in English language.
