Cryptocurrency Reconciliation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cryptocurrency Reconciliation Specialist to join our team at The Talent Hunter. This is a full-time opportunity based in Limassol, Cyprus.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling clients' funds daily, from third-party statements to SAP accounting software, ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily reconciliation of clients' funds and monitoring workflows to investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Confirming that adequate client funds are segregated to cover client balances through regular data reconciliation.
  • Preparing various reports related to client funds and balances on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Daily monitoring of financial institutions and payment providers' balances, assessing settlement or transfer requests as needed.
  • Effective communication and coordination with internal departments and third parties for issue resolution.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a payment processing or financial services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction monitoring, with knowledge of cryptocurrency and payment processing procedures.
  • Proficiency in using financial systems and tools.
  • Advanced computer literacy, especially in MS Excel.
  • Proven analytical abilities and investigative skills, with excellent time-management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and monitoring skills, with fluency in English language.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits may include a competitive package, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
