Job Description

Rimes is seeking a detail-oriented software engineer to join our innovative platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new data processing libraries that integrate into full data pipelines. You will ensure these processes are optimized throughout the entire pipeline, guaranteeing robustness, scalability, and efficiency to deliver high-quality data solutions to clients.

This team is dedicated to creating an enterprise data management solution using an ETL platform. As a software engineer, you will provide a framework to translate business logic into data pipelines, essential for democratizing the use of advanced data solutions within our organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data processing solutions: Contribute to the development and deployment of data processing solutions, leveraging the ETL platform to create abstracted behavior.
  • Collaborate with product teams: Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data processing that meets client needs.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure a high level of quality in all deliverables through rigorous testing and code reviews, implementing best practices for coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
  • Technical support: Provide technical support to resolve issues and ensure smooth usage of our platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all developed services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Python and data manipulation libraries such as PySpark and Pandas.
  • Experience: Mandatory experience with ETL tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical abilities with a knack for deriving insights from performance data.
