Financial Reconciliation Specialist Opportunity


Emerald Zebra is seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Specialist to join their team in Limassol. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the financial accuracy of a leading institution in the financial sector.


Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing reconciliation results, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Analyse costs and revenue, identifying areas for improvement and creating comprehensive comparisons to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate balance alignment between platforms and banking providers, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between platforms and banking providers, minimizing potential risks and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to address outstanding issues and tasks, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Support the accounting team by preparing reports and resolving inquiries, promoting a transparent and efficient financial process.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to management, utilizing your expertise to drive informed decision-making.
  • Identify potential system weaknesses and apply problem-solving skills to address them, ensuring the integrity of the financial systems.">

Your Ideal Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the FX industry, service providers, or roles such as Reconciliation Officer, Payment Officer, Financial Analyst, or Accountant.">
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced Excel, with the ability to create and use complex formulas effectively.">
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.">
  • A self-driven problem solver with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.">
  • Motivated and positive, with a proactive approach to challenges.">
  • Hands-on and proactive, capable of independently managing caseloads and overseeing the entire investigation process from start to finish.">
