Senior Trading Dealer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trading Dealer to join our team at Emerald Zebra, a leading multi-regulated broker and award-winning trading platform. As a Senior Trading Dealer, you will play a key role in analysing market trends and making strategic decisions that impact our trading and business operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive innovation in the trading ecosystem, leveraging advanced mathematical and financial methods to gain insights into customer trading behaviour and risk limits.
  • Take ownership of projects aimed at pioneering new products and platforms, leveraging your expertise in financial markets, financial products, and macroeconomics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between innovation and applicability, ensuring seamless integration of new products with existing risk management systems.
  • Optimise liquidity in fluctuating market conditions, building and maintaining critical relationships with providers to negotiate the best trading conditions and resolve issues when execution is challenging.
  • Solve complex, time-sensitive issues across multiple departments, providing expert guidance on intricate trading matters under pressure.
What You'll Need:
  • University degree in mathematics, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in back testing analysis and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, financial products, and macroeconomics.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and knowledge of SQL, with the ability to develop frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve risk coverage and productivity.
  • Ability to proactively manage projects, identifying shortcomings at an early stage and driving ambitious ideas into reality.
  • Confidence to address a diverse range of audiences, including all levels of management and internal/external stakeholders.
