Accounting Specialist

Hiring a bookkeeper or accountant with 2+ years of experience to join Emerald Zebra's professional audit firm in Larnaca, Cyprus. This role offers an early finish on Fridays and requires fluency in Greek and English.

• Main responsibilities include bookkeeping for clients, maintaining accurate records, preparing VAT returns, and handling vat issues.
• The ideal candidate will also be responsible for payroll administration, including social contribution payments and compliance.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• A university degree with a 2:1 grade or equivalent in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software (s) and excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Web applications.
• Detailed knowledge of Vat laws, regulations, and circulars, as well as social insurance contributions laws and payroll administration.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English languages (written and spoken).

This position offers great working hours, including:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:45am-1pm and 2pm-4:15pm, Wednesday, Friday: 7:45am-3pm.
