We are looking for a candidate with Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA) and a love for modern engineering. Were specifically looking for a hands-on developer with strong leadership and people management skills. 5+ years in leadership, mentoring teams and setting technical directionStrong grasp of REST APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL, and KafkaComfortable with Docker, Git, Maven/Gradle, AWS and agile deliveryExcellent communicator and a natural team-builder If you're ready to take ownership of backend systems that power a fast-growing global fintech platform, this role is for you. As a Java Team Lead, you will guide a skilled backend team to deliver scalable, high-performance systems that make trading smarter, faster, and more reliable. This isn't about managing from the side-lines its about leading by doing. You will shape architecture, solve complex challenges, and inspire your team to write code they're proud of. What you will do Lead, mentor, and grow a backend team that values clean, scalable code Design and implement high-performance services with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices Collaborate with frontend (React) and cross-functional squads to deliver seamless experiences Take ownership of backend architecture, system design, and performance tuningDrive best practices in TDD, CI/CD, and code reviews Contribute to the technical roadmap and play a key role in our next stage of growth.
