The Role

As a Product Manager for the IT & Telephone & Digital categories, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our offerings in the category. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and a proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis for the assigned categories to align commercial strategy with market opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
  • Take ownership of the assigned product category, determining the product mix, implementing pricing policies, and effectively managing stock supply to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Regularly evaluate and adjust product offerings based on market dynamics and performance analysis
  • Cultivate and develop professional relationships with internal and external partners, including suppliers
  • Engage in effective communication to align strategies and negotiate offers with both internal teams and external suppliers
  • Negotiate offers and oversee the procurement process for products from both internal and external suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Take responsibility for promoting products across various commercial channels, including physical stores, e-commerce platforms, and call centers
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive promotional strategies
  • Participate in the corporate merchandising policy and supervision of the implementation in all commercial channels
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to support the development and adjustment of pricing policies
  • Generate comprehensive reports covering purchase, sales, profitability, stock levels, supplier performance, training initiatives, and promotions for the assigned product category

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in the purchasing department of a commercial company. Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (XLS) for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written & oral
  • Effective communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiatives
  • Commercial and strategic thinking
  • Enthusiasm, results orientation, drive, and self-motivation

Desirable qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience as a SAP user or proficiency in similar software systems
