We are currently recruiting on behalf of an international ship management company, a global leader in the industry, for a Software Developer – Business Applications (ASP.NET C#). The Business Applications Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical software solutions using ASP.NET C#.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based business applications using ASP.NET C#
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain interfaces, workflows, alerts, and customizations for core business systems
  • Optimize application performance, usability, and reliability through regular maintenance and refactoring
  • Create and maintain technical documentation in line with industry standards
  • Perform unit and system testing of new or modified features following established quality practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
  • Adhere to software development best practices and established project management guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Business Solutions Manager

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software programming is essential
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET C# Web Forms is an advantage
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
  • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and client-side scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of AI language models an advantage
