The role reports to the Engineering Chapter Lead, based in Cyprus. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our backend systems deliver exceptional performance, scalability, and reliability. You will lead technical initiatives, drive modern engineering practices, and collaborate across teams to create innovative, data-driven solutions. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced backend engineer passionate about crafting high-quality software in a dynamic environment.

As a Senior Go Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and optimizing backend solutions for high-speed trading platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and innovation.

• Develop and optimize integrations for trading platforms using Go, ensuring maintainable and scalable code.
• Shape system architecture, contribute to engineering strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize performance for high-speed, low-latency systems under heavy loads.
• Collaborate with product teams and architects to deliver tailored, scalable backend solutions.
• Ensure best practices in development and testing, integrating automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

About You

• Experience: Expertise in Go programming, concurrency patterns, and low-latency environments. Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and cloud computing (AWS).
• Technical Skills: Strong grasp of development principles, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and familiarity with trading platforms like MT4/MT5.
• Soft Skills: Proactive mindset, exceptional communication, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Growth-Oriented: Quick learner with a passion for tackling challenges and adapting to new technologies.
