bbf: is one of the leading and fastest-growing companies in the property market in Cyprus and Greece, offering its clients such services, as property sales, rentals, management, construction, and other related services. bbf: is willing to enlarge its internal staff and is currently looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for our office in Limassol. 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Support

  • Maintain and develop cloud and residual on-premises infrastructure (Azure, GCP, Hosting, Cloudflare, on-site servers).
  • Administer networks, VPNs (Ubiquiti), and workstations (Intune, JAMF), as well as telephony systems (MS Teams, Avaya, VOIP).
  • Manage geographically distributed IT infrastructure supporting 300+ users, ensuring performance, redundancy, and availability.
  • Configure and optimise infrastructure monitoring and metric collection systems (Grafana, Azure Monitor).
  • Lead the internal support team (1-2-3rd line), ensure SLA compliance, and oversee external IT service providers.
  • Handle incident management and service desk operations via Jira Service Management.
  • Maintain the CMDB, Asset management, manage change and release processes, and ensure quality of ITSM procedures.

Information Security & Access Management

  • Manage identity and access management systems: Azure AD, Entra ID, Bitwarden, Microsoft Secure Centre, DLP.
  • Implement and enforce Zero Trust policies; regularly perform access audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies.
  • Develop and maintain security-related documentation and infrastructure procedures.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with business departments to address IT needs and ensure service alignment.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Share knowledge and provide internal training within the support team.
  • Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers and coordinate external contractors when needed.

Requirements for the position:

  • 5+ years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, JAMF, VPN, LAN\WAN, and Firewalls.
  • Experience working with SaaS providers and multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Cloudways).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Jira Service Management, CMDB, and ITSM tools.
  • Strong communication skills, structured approach to work, and proactive mindset.

Considered as an advantage:

  • Experience with IT infrastructure architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Familiarity with IT governance and service management best practices (e.g., ISO, ITIL, COBIT).
  • Involvement in IT budgeting and strategic planning processes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices.
