A leading international organization operating in a secure and complex global environment is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its cybersecurity strategy and ensure the highest levels of data protection and regulatory compliance. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a proven cybersecurity professional to safeguard critical information assets, strengthen resilience, and shape the company's global security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive information security program covering cyber defense, data protection, and security operations.
  • Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response processes to minimize security threats.
  • Manage enterprise security architecture, tools, and technologies, ensuring robust protection of systems and networks.
  • Oversee compliance with global data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, and related frameworks).
  • Conduct security audits, coordinate remediation plans, and report on organizational security posture to executive leadership.
  • Lead employee awareness and training programs to foster a strong cybersecurity culture.
  • Collaborate with legal, IT, and compliance teams to ensure integrated and proactive risk management.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to continuously enhance security measures.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior cybersecurity leadership role (CISO or equivalent).
  • Deep knowledge of information security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience with cloud security, infrastructure protection, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption technologies.
  • Strong familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as
    NIST
    and
    ISO 27001
    .
  • Solid understanding of ethical hacking, penetration testing, and AI/ML applications in security.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as
    CISSP, CISM, or CISA
    highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages an advantage.
