About Us
We are a fast-scaling Payment Service Provider (PSP) with a core focus on the iGaming industry and other high-growth digital verticals. Our mission is to deliver secure, seamless, and innovative payment solutions to merchants worldwide, enabling them to scale revenue, optimize payment flows, and improve player experience. We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to own and drive the full revenue cycle — sales, partnerships, marketing, and customer success — ensuring sustainable growth across multiple geographies.
Role Overview
The CRO will be responsible for defining and executing the company's revenue strategy. This includes acquiring and growing merchants in iGaming and high-risk verticals, building global sales and account management teams, strengthening partnerships with acquirers/banks/ISOs, and ensuring merchant retention through optimized service delivery. The CRO will collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, and Compliance/MLRO functions to balance commercial growth with regulatory, risk, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute a multi-channel revenue strategy tailored to iGaming and other high-risk industries.
- Deliver aggressive revenue growth targets while balancing risk appetite and compliance obligations.
- Identify and expand into new geographies, payment channels, and value-added services.
Sales Leadership:
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing sales, business development, and account management teams.
- Establish KPIs, pipeline metrics, and reporting dashboards for full revenue visibility.
- Develop competitive merchant pricing models, revenue share deals, and partnership agreements.
Merchant & Partner Acquisition:
- Drive acquisition of high-value merchants, affiliates, and gaming operators.
- Build and manage relationships with acquirers, issuers, card schemes, banks, alternative payment providers, and ISOs.
- Negotiate commercial terms and partnerships that increase revenue and improve margins.
Customer Success & Retention:
- Implement merchant success frameworks to maximize LTV and reduce churn.
- Oversee strategic account management and upselling/cross-selling of products (fraud tools, alternative payments, instant settlements, crypto payments, etc.).
Collaboration with Compliance & Risk:
- Partner with Compliance/MLRO to align commercial strategy with regulatory requirements.
- Balance revenue growth with effective merchant underwriting and ongoing KYC/KYB.
- Ensure commercial teams are trained to sell responsibly within regulated frameworks.
Brand & Market Positioning:
- Work with Marketing to strengthen brand presence in the iGaming payments ecosystem.
- Represent the company at industry conferences (SBC Summit, SiGMA, ICE London, iGaming Next, etc.).
- Build thought-leadership positioning as a leading PSP for iGaming.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record as CRO, VP Sales, or equivalent in a PSP, acquiring bank, or iGaming payment provider.
- Deep knowledge of iGaming, online betting, and other high-risk industries.
- Strong network across operators, payment providers, acquirers, and regulators.
- Experience scaling commercial teams across multiple geographies (EU, MENA, LatAm, APAC preferred).
- Demonstrated success in building sustainable merchant portfolios while managing compliance and chargeback risks.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to work closely with CFO on pricing, margins, and forecasting.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
Key Competencies
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance aggressive revenue growth with compliance and operational realities.
- Leadership: Proven capability to recruit, inspire, and scale high-performing revenue teams.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of payments, PSP models, card acquiring, and iGaming merchant needs.
