PERHA Group is a premium HR Consulting agency providing consulting services embracing all aspects of the employee life cycle and it was founded with the purpose of being a business partner to companies with high ambitions for employee engagement and results.

On behalf of our client, a dynamic accounting firm, we are seeking a Junior Accountant to support bookkeeping, financial reporting,
reconciliations, and tax preparations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Processing financial transactions, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Recording and reconciling financial data in the general ledger
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Conducting basic financial analysis and variance analysis
  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls 
  • Supporting the Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from
    time to time

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or any related field, actively working  towards obtaining one 
  • Basic Knowledge of VAT regulations, Social Insurance services, and Tax  authorities 
  • Able to work on a variety of engagements and tasks 
  • Excellent communication skills and being able to work in a team
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Excellent command of English and Greek language (oral and written), knowledge  of any other language is considered an advantage
  • Computer literate
