We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in E-Soft Accounting Software to join our finance team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.

Qualifications

  • Record, classify, and reconcile daily accounting transactions using E-Soft Accounting Software.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping for payables, receivables, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with VAT submissions, payroll entries, and tax compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closings by preparing financial reports and schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and auditors regarding accounting queries.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records in line with internal policies.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the Finance Manager and wider team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in E-Soft Accounting Software is required
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong in MS Excel; knowledge of payroll and VAT reporting.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); Greek is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
