About the role

EMKAP (previously MeritKapital), a CySEC and FCA licensed investment business, is looking for a motivated IT System Administrator (Junior–Mid level) to join our Cyprus office in Limassol. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset, looking to grow their career in IT support and infrastructure within an international financial services environment.

What you'll do

· Provide end-user support across platforms.

· Monitor systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

· Maintain and secure IT infrastructure, networks, and user accounts.

· Implement network security measures to protect data and systems.

· Perform system tests, backups, and recovery procedures.

· Support documentation for business continuity and disaster recovery.

· Collaborate with external support teams (e.g. Bloomberg, SWIFT).

What we're looking for

· Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (1+ year).

· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· English communication skills (B1–B2+).

· Knowledge of:

Windows 10/11; Linux (advantage).

·
Active Directory & Google Workspace administration.

·
Virtualisation (VMware ESXi).

·
Basic networking & security (Cisco, HP, Huawei).

·
Backup tools (Veeam, Shadow Copies).

·
VoIP (3CX, Grandstream).

·
Monitoring tools (Zabbix).

· Experience with Bloomberg or SWIFT systems is an advantage.

· EU citizenship/work permit preferred (visa sponsorship available).
