Head of Finance

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support company growth and profitabilityOversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reportingEstablish a unified budgeting process for a group of companiesEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, including AML/KYC, tax, and audit requirementsDevelop and manage financial controls and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and regulators.Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with international tax lawsHire the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvementCollaborate with executive leadership to set financial targets and monitor performance, providing regular updates and actionable insights to support decision-makingEstablish and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and regulatory authorities to enhance the company's reputation and market position.Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes, proactively adapting financial strategies and operations to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferredProgressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (as Head of Finance, CFO Deputy), preferably within the fintech industry or in a high-volume product company Demonstrated experience in managing financial operations, planning, and analysis for a global, high-growth organisationExtensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecastingIn-depth knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, accounting principles, and risk management practicesProven leadership and management skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teamsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProficiency in financial modeling and analysis software and toolsFluency in English and Ukrainian or Russian languagesWiliness to work from Cyprus office

Will be a plus:

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is a plusA Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferredComprehensive understanding of global financial markets, online trading regulations
