Tickmill is looking to hire a Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team.

What does the job look like?

The Account Payable Specialist will have the opportunity to:

  • Execution of corporate payments from bank and other institutions
  • Daily posting of suppliers' invoices and bank payment transactions to the accounting software
  • Preparation and reconciliation of corporate banks and suppliers
  • Assist in month-end/year-end entries and management accounts
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by Accounting Supervisor and/or Head of department

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and/or LCCI Higher Diploma
  • Previous experience in a similar position for at least 2 years
  • Previous experience in Financial/FX Industry will be considered as advantage
  • IT literate (very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools)
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite accounting software will be considered as advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English language, both oral and written
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
  • Team player and reticence is a requirement
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work on multiple assignments, in a dynamic working environment
  • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
