About the Role
Fintrix Markets is seeking a skilled
IT Support Engineer
to join our growing technology team. As IT Support Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our technology infrastructure, supporting our global team, and ensuring seamless operations across our organisation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced fintech environment where technology is at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems for internal employees
- Provide timely and effective solutions to maintain business continuity and user productivity
System Administration & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and deploy new hardware and software across the organisation
- Perform regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Administer Microsoft 365 environment including Entra ID (SSO), Intune, Exchange, and Defender
- Manage the Intune environment, maintaining collections, packaging applications for deployment, and ensuring patches are current
User Support & Onboarding
- Lead technical onboarding for new staff members, ensuring smooth integration into our systems
- Provide guidance to users on system and software usage, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms
- Facilitate remote device onboarding for team members based in different countries
Collaboration & Escalation
- Escalate complex technical issues to specialised IT departments or engineering teams
- Act as a liaison between end users and development teams to ensure effective communication and problem resolution
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and suppliers for troubleshooting and procurement of IT equipment (routers, WiFi systems, laptops, etc.)
Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with vendor to monitor and respond to security alerts and potential vulnerabilities on staff's devices
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge base articles
- Document solutions and best practices to enable self-service and improve team efficiency
What You Bring
Technical Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience
with Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Exchange, Defender) - Proven experience administering Intune environments, including collection maintenance, application packaging, and patch management
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software for
both Windows and macOS
devices - Experience with remote device onboarding and support for distributed teams
Vendor Management:
- Demonstrated experience working with third-party vendors and suppliers for troubleshooting and IT equipment procurement

: Can clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences - High adaptability
: Comfortable switching between reactive troubleshooting and proactive maintenance tasks throughout the day - Customer service mindset
: Patient, empathetic, and committed to delivering excellent internal user experiences
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or fintech environments
- Familiarity with trading platforms or financial software systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, like Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Snipe IT
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified, CompTIA A+, or similar
