Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented software engineer to join our innovative platform team. This team is dedicated to create an enterprise data management solution using an ETL platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new data processing libraries that integrate into full data pipelines. You will ensure these processes are optimized throughout the entire pipeline, guaranteeing robustness, scalability, and efficiency to deliver high-quality data solutions to our clients. Additionally, you will provide a framework to translate business logic into data pipelines, which is essential for democratizing the use of advanced data solutions within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data processing creation:
  Contribute to the development and deployment of data processing solutions. Address various challenges to leverage the ETL platform and create an abstracted behaviour that democratizes ETL pipeline creation and maintenance for our internal users.
• Collaborate with Product Teams:
  Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data processing that meet client needs.
• Quality Assurance:
  Ensure a high level of quality in all deliverables through rigorous testing and code reviews and implement best practices for coding standards, security, and performance optimization
• Technical Support:
  Provide technical support to resolve issues and ensure smooth usage of our platform.
• Documentation:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation of all developed services.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  Proficient in Python and data manipulation libraries such as PySpark and Pandas.
• Experience:
  Mandatory experience with ETL tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical abilities with a knack for deriving insights from performance data.
• Team Collaboration:
  Effective team player with the ability to collaborate with senior engineers and product teams.
• Communication Skills:
  Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document processes and optimizations clearly.
