Client Onboarding Specialist

Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd., on behalf of a leading financial technology and electronic payments institution regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a skilled Client Onboarding Specialist to join its expanding team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will ensure a seamless and fully compliant onboarding experience for new clients. The role involves guiding clients through the entire process while ensuring that all regulatory, operational, and technical requirements are met. This position plays a key role in establishing a strong foundation for long-term client relationships while upholding the company's high compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the entire client onboarding process, from initial contact to the completion of all required documentation and verifications
  • Ensuring that all onboarding activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, safeguarding both the company and the client's interests
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for new clients by providing clear guidance, addressing inquiries, and resolving any onboarding-related issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Customer and Technical Support) to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience
  • Continuously evaluating and enhancing onboarding procedures to improve operational efficiency, compliance accuracy, and overall client satisfaction
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and onboarding progress within the CRM system

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or any other related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in client onboarding within the banking, payments, or broader financial services sector
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to payments and financial services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and onboarding tools (e.g., RegTek, Sumsub, LexisNexis) will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English languages
