UpcoMinds, is seeking an End User Support Specialist to join our team for a banking-sector project delivered for one of our major clients in Nicosia, Cyprus.

This role is ideal for IT professionals with hands-on end-user support experience who enjoy solving problems, interacting with users, and working in a structured enterprise / banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1
    st & 2nd level End-User Support
    to internal users (on-site & remote)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve
    hardware, software
    , and
    network-related
    incidents
  • Support enterprise systems and business applications, ensuring high service availability
  • Assist users with Microsoft technologies including
    Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, laptops, operating systems, and standard applications
  • Log, track, and manage incidents
    and service requests via ticketing systems
  • Escalate
    complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when required
  • Provide
    technical guidance
    and
    basic user training
    to improve productivity and self-service
  • Maintain accurate
    documentation
    for incidents, solutions, and end-user support procedures
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations (GDPR)
  • Work in
    rotational shifts
    , if required

Requirements

  • Minimum
    6 months
    of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk / End-User Support
  • Troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies will be considered an advantage
  • Strong customer service orientation with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage customer relations and resolve issues effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation
