Data Scientist

We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work with real datasets, real workflows, and a team that values curiosity and collaboration as much as technical skills.

What you'll do

• Work with large, often complex datasets to uncover insights and support business decisions.
• Build and maintain data workflows and pipelines that keep our projects running smoothly.
• Use Python, R, and SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data. (We work with both R and Python, so experience in one and willingness to learn the other is ideal.)
• Collaborate with teammates across Data Science, BI, DevOps, and Business Development.
• Share findings clearly with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Stay open to learning new tools and approaches—we explore and adopt new technologies regularly.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience working with data: extracting, processing, analysing, and communicating insights.
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills—you can explain data-driven insights to different audiences.
• Proficiency in Python
  or
  R (both is a plus).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, etc.).
• A curious, proactive mindset—you enjoy exploring data, asking questions, and learning new things.

Bonus points for experience with

• Machine learning (tidymodels, mlr3, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Data visualisation tools (Tableau, Sisense, Power BI).
• Shiny for R or Python.
• Big data tools (Spark, Databricks).
• Experience in the FMCG sector and RMS data
