Treasury & Accounting Associate (m/f/d)

Location: Larnaca or Nicosia, Cyprus

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Treasury & Accounting Associate
to join the Finance team. This role offers broad exposure to treasury operations and core accounting processes and is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced, regulated fintech/crypto environment. You will work closely with Treasury and Accounting colleagues and report directly to the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank and crypto accounts
  • Prepare and process internal fund transfers and payment instructions
  • Support short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Assist with execution and documentation of FX trades, crypto transfers, and funding operations
  • Maintain accurate records of treasury transactions and confirmations
  • Support bank and wallet account opening and ongoing maintenance
  • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and internal controls
  • Reconcile bank accounts, crypto wallets, and intercompany balances
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records
  • Coordinate with other departments on invoicing, accounts payable, and expense processing

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, or finance operations
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with accounting software is a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest or basic knowledge of crypto assets is a plus, but not required
