We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our rapidly growing workforce in Nicosia, Cyprus. The ideal candidate is an organized individual with attention to detail and with a keen interest in accounting. Relevant professional experience within the fund industry will be considered as an advantage but not a prerequisite for this role.

About the Group

The 7Q Investment Group operates from its offices in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Group provides financial and administration services to Organizations, Investment Funds, Pension Funds, Provident Funds, Insurance Companies and High Net Worth Individuals. The Group offers a dynamic and young workplace with opportunities for professional growth and development through direct exposure to both conventional and innovative investment projects.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Associate will contribute to the Team by performing the following:

  • Assist in maintaining proper accounting books and records for the Group and its Clients including Provident Funds, Investment Firms and AIF managers.
  • Bookkeeping.
  • Issuance of invoices on behalf of the Group.
  • Preparing aging analysis and performing collection of receivables.
  • Liaise with the Company's internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare and submit VAT/VIES returns.
  • Liaise with banks, brokers and Clients regarding both the Group's and Clients' accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports to the competent authorities.
  • Be actively involved in ad hoc projects assigned to the Group's Finance Department.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other related field.
  • Work experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One will be considered an advantage.
  • Computer and numerical literacy (excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
