While the product designer ensures usability, and the engineers ensure feasibility, the product manager is responsible for ensuring the solution is both valuable and viable. This includes understanding business constraints from compliance, legal, sales, finance, and privacy standpoints, and having comprehensive knowledge of our users and partners, market trends, and competitive disadvantages.

About the Role
As the Product Lead at Mercuryo, your main task will be to develop a card-issuing product that connects with both custodial and non-custodial crypto wallets. You'll play a key role in combining traditional card services with the fast-paced world of crypto, building a product that's both practical and innovative. Your work will directly contribute to expanding Mercuryo in the fiat-crypto space. 
You will be accountable not just for shipping the product but also for the product market fit, including the responsibility to work through others to achieve necessary results. 

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of crypto, fintech, and product strategy - and who can turn complexity into clarity.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for the Spend Card domain, aligning it with Mercuryo's broader ecosystem and business goals.
• Translate high-level company objectives into actionable product plans, measurable KPIs, and data-driven growth initiatives.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from discovery and research to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Build scalable processes and clear communication flows to ensure product transparency and alignment across departments.
• Prepare and present high-quality product reports and performance insights to leadership and key partners.
• Oversee product experimentation and drive customer-centric improvements that optimize engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Act as a bridge between crypto and traditional finance, ensuring seamless user experience while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in product management, with strong judgment in assessing risks and presenting data-driven, well-structured arguments.
• Extensive background in banking and fintech, including card issuing, risk management, and compliance.
• Solid understanding of the finance and crypto industries and how they intersect.
• Strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate market trends, product performance, and user behavior.
• Deep knowledge of crypto payments, on/off-ramp flows, and regulatory frameworks in the space.
• Proven track record of working with card schemes, issuers, processors, and payment service providers.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and continuously learning in the evolving fintech and crypto landscape.
• Demonstrated leadership and influence, with a balance between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
