Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and highly organised PR and Events Manager to work closely with our Head of Marketing on public relations efforts and manage end-to-end event planning and execution. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand image, increasing media exposure and delivering high-impact events that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations
  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, speeches and other PR materials.
  • Manage crisis communications and provide timely, appropriate responses to media inquiries.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance reports.
  • Collaborate with external and internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all communications.

Event Management:

  • Plan, organise and execute a wide range of events including corporate events, press conferences, trade shows and sponsorship activations.
  • Develop event concepts, budgets and timelines.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, speakers and suppliers.
  • Oversee event setup and logistics.
  • Manage post-event analysis, reporting and follow-up communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in PR and event management (agency or in-house).
  • Strong network of media and event industry contacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
  • Proficient in PR and event tools/platforms.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, when necessary.
