We're looking for a
Legal Specialist

to join our growing team. This role suits a hands-on, detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment and wants to broaden their expertise in international business law, financial regulation, and corporate governance.

Role Overview

The Legal Specialist will support the Group's legal and compliance activities across its entities. You'll work closely with senior legal advisors and business leads to ensure legal soundness in contracts, operations, and governance while managing day-to-day documentation, risk reviews, and communication with external counsel.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial and regulatory awareness who wants to develop in a complex, international business setting.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Regulatory Support

  • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.
  • Support corporate housekeeping activities - company formations, board resolutions, and statutory filings.
  • Conduct legal research on financial services, fintech, and DeFi regulatory matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and provide summaries or recommendations to management.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of internal legal policies and frameworks.

Risk & Governance

  • Identify potential legal risks and escalate them to senior counsel where required.
  • Support the implementation of governance and compliance controls across the Group.
  • Maintain organized legal documentation, contracts, and regulatory correspondence.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with external counsel on ongoing matters and support efficient case management.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance, compliance, and operations teams to ensure legal consistency across projects.
  • Support the legal aspects of transactions, partnerships, and corporate structuring.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Law degree and qualification to practice in an EU jurisdiction (Cyprus, Greece, or similar).
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law - ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with EU frameworks such as PSD2, AMLD, and MiCA is an advantage.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with practical problem-solving ability.
  • Experience liaising with external counsel and regulators.
  • Excellent written and spoken English;
  • Organized, reliable, and adaptable to a fast-changing, international environment.
