We are now recruiting for an
Data Analytics Team Leader
to join our dynamic team.
This role applies advanced analytical skills, business knowledge, and data technologies to transform data into actionable insights that support business decision-making.
The Data Analytics Team Leader oversees the analytics function, ensures high-quality delivery of analytical projects, and guides the team in leveraging data to achieve measurable business outcomes. The role includes planning, assigning, and supervising the work of the analytics team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Develop and monitor analytics project plans, scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with the project management team.
- Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of analytical outputs, dashboards, and reports.
- Ensure adherence to internal analytics methodologies, governance, and data privacy standards.
- Conduct weekly monitoring and reporting of project progress and risks.
Client Management:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through structured and clear communication.
- Understand client analytical needs, manage expectations, and translate requirements into data solutions.
- Address concerns by providing timely, data-driven alternatives and recommendations.
- Collect feedback to assess satisfaction and continuously improve service quality.
People Management:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Data Analytics team to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
- Conduct regular daily/weekly team meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and define next steps.
- Set annual performance goals and review progress through quarterly check-ins.
- Identify resource needs and participate in recruitment and onboarding of new analytics talent.
- Encourage continuous development of technical and analytical expertise within the team.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for analytical enhancement and additional data-driven services within existing accounts.
- Support the sales team by recommending relevant analytics solutions aligned with client needs.
- Provide strategic insights that help clients enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and performance.
Personal Development:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data analytics trends, tools, and best practices (e.g., data visualization, AI/ML, predictive analytics).
- Develop deeper expertise in BI platforms, data engineering principles, and modern data stack technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics frameworks and methodologies.
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles.
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, data warehouses, cloud ecosystems).
- 5–7 years of experience delivering analytical projects at a senior level.
- Proven experience in leading teams and delivering analytics initiatives within time and budget.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and present insights.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required.

- Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT practices, and data governance principles.
