SCOPE OF JOB

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing commercial kitchen, repairing refrigerator systems & electrical systems, and beverage equipment to all outlets within Columbia Restaurants Co. Ltd.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment within the Columbia restaurants
  • Document labour and materials expended in the maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment to equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Perform maintenance/repair of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
  • Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection)
  • Perform maintenance/repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

Requirements
Level of Experience

  • Proven experience as maintenance technician
  • Additional experience on the field will be considered as an advantage

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in the operation and use of equipment and tools common to kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
  • A working knowledge and hands-on experience with drive systems (gear, belt and chain), bearings, flexible couplings, centrifugal pumps, valves and valve actuators
  • A working knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing, steam and electrical systems
