We are looking for a qualified
Financial Controller
to join our Shared Service Centre in Nicosia. In this role, you will take ownership of the accounts for our Singapore subsidiary, ensure compliance with local tax and reporting requirements, support the roll-out of Microsoft Dynamics (MSD), and play a key part in strengthening financial processes across the Group. Over time, you may also assist with other subsidiaries and help drive the standardisation of MSD globally.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee financial reporting for our Singapore subsidiary and assist with the implementation of group standardised finance processes and controls.
  • Review P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations, project margins, WIP, intercompany balances, journal entries & transactional finance activities including AR and AP ledgers.
  • Validate subsidiary results, ensure accuracy of financial data and ensure internal reporting deadlines are met.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring all in-country reporting, regulations, and statutory deadlines are met in Singapore (tax filings, any economic substance reporting requirements, and year-end audit).
  • Approve payroll & supplier bank payments and assist with bank user administration.
  • Drive the implementation of MSD for Singapore and support standardisation across other subsidiaries in the future.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of finance staff, including workload review and staff development.
  • Provide cover for other accountants during absence (sick leave/holiday)

What we're looking for:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE.
  • Experience in management accounting,
    reconciliations
    ,
    project accounting
    , and
    WIP
    reporting and an understanding of sub ledgers.
  • Hands-on exposure to systems implementation (
    Microsoft Dynamics
    preferred).
  • Strong Excel and IFRS knowledge.
  • Experience in computing and approving
    payroll
    .
  • Confident people manager with excellent English communication skills.
