Our client, a single family office, primarily focused on real estate and property management is seeking a meticulous and reliable Financial Accountant to join their central finance team. This role is primarily focused on bookkeeping and transactional accounting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage high volumes of data with consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate general ledger entries for multiple entitiesRecord and reconcile daily transactions including bank, supplier, and customer movementsProcess accounts payable and receivablePrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepaymentsReconcile intercompany balances and ensure proper eliminationsAssist with VAT and other tax filings and liaising with tax advisors Support month-end and year-end close processes with basic reporting tasksLiaise with external accountants and auditors for statutory requirementsMaintain organized documentation and audit trails for all financial recordsEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesQualifications & Skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accountingAcquiring a professional qualification of ACCA or ACA will be considered as a strong advantage Experience working with property portfolios or investment groups is a plusProficiency in accounting software Strong Excel skills and familiarity with multi-entity accountingExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesBasic understanding of financial reporting (though not a core focus of the role)What We Offer
