We are seeking a highly skilled Head KYC to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. This individual ensures the organization effectively identifies and verifies its customers, manages potential risks associated with them, and prevents financial losses from fraud and other illicit activities

Key Responsibilities:
Own the KYC strategy and roadmap: define standards for CDD/EDD, PEP/sanctions screening, source-of-funds/wealth checks, age & identity verification, and ongoing monitoring.
Ensure compliance with applicable AML/KYC frameworks (e.g., FATF guidance, EU AMLDs, UKGC/MGA/Curaçao requirements as applicable) and internal policies.
Design risk-based onboarding flows by jurisdiction and product; balance conversion with regulatory rigor.
Select, implement, and optimize external KYC vendors (document verification, liveness, address/phone verification, AML screening). Negotiate SLAs and manage performance.
Build and lead the KYC operations team (analysts, seniors, QA): hiring, coaching, shift models, playbooks, and QC.
Establish robust procedures: escalations, EDD triggers, periodic/KYCP refresh cycles, recordkeeping, audit readiness.
Partner closely with Legal/Compliance, Product, CRM, and Payments to ensure seamless cross-functional execution.
Define and monitor KPIs: pass/fail rates, verification TAT, abandonment, false-positive rates, refresh completion, audit/QA scores.
Own regulatory reporting and responses to information requests related to identification/verification.
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, AB tests, and feedback loops; automate where possible.

Requirements:
 5+ years in AML/KYC within iGaming/fintech or high-risk payments; 3–5+ years leading teams.
Proven expertise in risk-based KYC design across multiple jurisdictions; hands-on with CDD/EDD and sanctions regimes.
Strong vendor management and tooling experience (e.g., document/liveness providers, screening engines, case managers).
Data-driven mindset; comfortable defining rules/thresholds and partnering on product analytics.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication with regulators and internal teams.
