PROFILE

The Conference Manager will manage the entire conference organisation process using in-house software. The Conference Manager will be liaising closely with organisers, clients, and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the complete conference management process
  • Manage conferences through the company software
  • Prepare reports related to the conferences
  • Attend conferences and manage all onsite conference logistics within Cyprus and Europe
  • Liaise with local organisers and conference contributors.
  • Liaise and negotiate the best possible terms and rates with possible venues and other suppliers
  • Coordinate with the rest of the team for the smooth office operation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.
  • Knowledge of an additional language will be considered an advantage
  • Very good level of computer literacy, in particular with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work onsite at conferences, both in Cyprus and abroad (fieldwork)
  • Previous experience in a similar/related field or position for a minimum of 5 years
  • Understanding of conference planning, organisation, and execution
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to work individually and as a member of a team, with Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • A university degree in a related field will be considered an advantage
