VTTV is one of the first and largest energy storage and distribution terminals in the Eastern Mediterranean. The infrastructure of the terminal includes 28 tanks with a capacity of 545,000 cubic meters for liquid fuels, and has a privately owned jetty with 4 berths.

Mechanical Engineer
to join our Technical team, and support projects and maintenance activities at our Oil Storage Terminal, in Vasiliko, Larnaca.

Your role as a Mechanical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to work on complex mechanical systems and contribute to the reliability and safety of critical infrastructure. You will support the Project and Maintenance Mechanical Engineers on the day to day activities by oversees the mechanical aspect of the on-going projects and maintenance of the oil storage terminal. Responsibilities includes internal and external coordination, site supervision, designs, fabrications and installations supervision. Additionally includes documentation and works execution quality controls, achieving high quality results. The job interfaces between multiple internal and external resources, to ensure terminal's equipment is meeting company's reliability, and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support project and maintenance teams in planning and execution.
• Supervise mechanical installations, inspections, and maintenance works.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical regulations.
• Participate in risk-based inspections and quality control.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of systems such as valves, pipelines, marine loading arms, and corrosion management.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Scientific Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK).
• 1+ years of experience in engineering or maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Analytical mindset and drive for results.

Nice to Have

• Experience in project management and inspection processes.
• Familiarity with standards such as ASME, API, and EEMUA.
• Knowledge of piping systems, welding, leak testing, and coating.
