Junior Accountant.

Our client, a full-service accounting firm based in Limassol, is looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Accountant
. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in a structured and friendly environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants and managers, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and general ledger entries
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations
  • Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
  • Assist with VAT preparation and submissions
  • Help with payroll support and other statutory filings as needed
  • Prepare and organize documentation for audit and internal review purposes
  • Communicate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders professionally
  • Handle various administrative and accounting-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or related areas (internship experience considered an advantage)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., E-soft, SAP, Sage, Intelisoft, or similar) is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken) is required
  • Ability to work on-site in Limassol
