Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience and performance

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed monthly management reports, offering insights into the financial health of the company.
Analyze financial data and provide clear summaries of the companys financial position.
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Propose actionable recommendations for improving financial processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit.
Manage VAT calculations and submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee payroll processing and handle all relevant forms.
Collaborate with the CFO in the preparation of the companys budget.
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting.
Review and validate journal entries prepared by junior accountants for accuracy.
Train, mentor, and support junior team members, fostering growth and development.
Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA professional.
At least 4 years of experience in accounting, with a solid track record.
Prior experience in the FX industry is essential.
Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) highly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to take a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations.
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Team player with leadership skills and experience in coaching junior staff.
